An Approach To Evaluation Programme

An approach to programmme evluation provides simple scientific procedure for undertaking evaluation of Physical Education programme in an institution. The text instructs on methods that may be employed to ascertain facilities availability and suitability; achievements on objectives of the programme; competencies acquired by the graduates of the programme; the relevance of the acquired competencies in the world of work; employers' ratings of graduates' competencies demonstrated and the short falls apparent from levels of abilities exhibited by the graduates considered as products of the programme; personnel development activities and interests on the programme; and improvement need of the programme. The relevance of this text to other evaluation activities that may be contemplated in other programmes and disciplines aside from Physical Education are obvious.
