An Assessment of Factors influencing Loan Repayment

This book is based on research on factors resulting in some farmers on contract farming defaulting while others repay their loans in three irrigation schemes. It also looks at some mitigating factors that contractors use to reduce defaults. Results attained will be used by academia policy makers contract farmers and contractors. Results found out show that the following factors influence repayment of loans performance: Demographic Institutional Environment agronomic financial socio-economic and political.
