Hand-washing is significant and a daily behavior. It is substantially contributing to the health of self community. It should occur frequently enough to become habitual; at least at the critical moments; before eating after defecation and before serving food. Parents especially mothers /household members/ are the first point to teach children on hand wash behavior and equally teachers/schools couch children to wash their hands properly. Inclusion of hand wash or hygiene and sanitation in school curriculum and teachers’ lesson promote hand wash. School clubs and mini-media is also potential forum for hand wash information and promotion.
