An Eagle's Flight In POETRY

<p><strong>POETRY IS OFTEN CALLED </strong>the language of emotion. This poetry was written into the original manuscript of the novel<strong> <em>The Soul of an Eagle </em></strong><em>the sequel to </em><strong><em>The Courage of a Butterfly. (It is a</em></strong><em> book about surviving---coming back from the brink of death.) Where does one go when one has seen the end of his life and realizes he never really lived. And too knows that this person dying was not someone he liked or respected. This book tells that story.</em><strong><em> </em></strong></p><p><strong>THE BOOK ITSELF WAS REWRITTEN</strong> in story form and the poems were published herein as a companion book to the novel. Emotions? Yeah his were squirting out like explosive diarrhea---in poetry. Just so some poems are hard to look at. Others are about the magnificence of one's very soul. All are about honesty such as you likely have never experienced nor ever will again.</p><p><strong>THERE ARE NO COINCIDENCES. Your soul orchestrates </strong>your life to give you the lessons you need to evolve. Given that insight what is this book</p><p>doing here in your life right now? </p><p><strong>LIFE AND A LITTLE TIME</strong> is all we are given in coming here to this Earth. But if not based on honesty and truth life means nothing. Given the precepts by which we live our lives---taught to us by those who didn't know the truth---you now have an opportunity to see life from a completely different perspective one that other people simply cannot see. These poems are about looking at life in the light of the Spiritual Laws-the simple truths of life rather than the lies man uses to control others. </p><p><strong>AND HONESTY? </strong>That takes<strong> </strong>a kind of courage. To reject the lies to piss into the face of all who would control you---your parents your church your society---yeah takes real courage. It is so much easier to believe the lies. They relieve us of all the responsibilities associated with honesty-yes much easier to play the BLAME GAME than to be the responsible party in our lives.</p><p><br></p>
