About The Book

With the reforms of the basic education in China English teaching in middle school has made great progress but some problems still exist. Some middle school teachers overemphasize the learners’ cognitive aspect while ignoring their affective development. In order to develop learners’ cognition and affect harmoniously and make up some middle school English teachers’ poor lisenting and speaking abilities English perceptive teaching is proposed. The results of the empirical study prove that English perceptive teaching can not only be helpful for learners’ cognitive development but also for affective development.
