There are humorous descriptions of antics of Indian politicians and bureaucrats of the time. A full chapter has been devoted to describe his duties as an Equerry-In-Waiting for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philips the Duke of Edinburgh during their state Visit to India in January - March 1961.
