An integrated bankruptcy risk & sustainability in business failures

<p>The causes of business failure need to be researched at different points of time and that gives different perspectives indeed. Since the start of modern corporate business the world around us faced many a change like communication revolution information explosion emergence of new economy continued dominance of intellectual capital in business emerging role of intangible assets increasing role of environmental influence on business and economy evolving sustainability issues of business and development are the few that have made the business failure analysis more different than ever before. However at the same time it has become more imperative to take a renewed view and analyze the reasons for business failures to develop broad-based recommendations and provide inputs to the research process of devising business sustainability. Keeping this in mind this study attempts to list out the major reasons that are responsible for an organizational crisis and to develop a conceptual framework that will serve as a supporting risk assessment tool for all the stakeholders of an organization.</p>
