An interview Tiger International School

An Interview @ Tiger International School is a short comic play which attempts to discuss the struggleand aspirations of the middle class parents for their children’s education in India. There are abouteighteen characters in this play but the focus of the play is mainly on two characters. The play is set inHyderabad. The reader — hopefully —may not feel boredom as the whole play is filled with hilariousand thought-provoking dialogues between different characters. This short play depicts several issues ofmodern education that always pester poor and middle class parents and even students. The play alsodiscusses how so many concept-cum-international schools are solely set up to fleece gullible parents andmake money in the name of digital education in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. And this play alsothrows a light whether digital classrooms and concept-cum-techno schools are really playing any keyrole in imparting the real education to students.The play is replete with full of humour satires and fallacies till the end of it. It shows the real lifeexperience to the reader when he moves with the characters throughout the play. Among the eighteencharacters Sagar and Sarika are couple of a middle class. Sagar is very much passionate to admit his kidsin one fancy international school (Tiger International School) though he comes to know the fee of theschool is beyond his financial status. There is a funny interview between the couple and a panel ofprincipal senior teachers and a psychologist laced with witty comments and a few intenselyembarrassing moments at the school. There are some distressing scenes of the characters argumentsand fights at different stages in the play.
