Introduction to Powder Metallurgy

This is a comprehensive introduction with some emphasis of the fundamentals of the different processing steps but and pays attention also to the main powder metallurgy products including their applications. Since the boundaries between powder metallurgy and advanced ceramics are not definitely fixed and since they are sometimes competitive products the description of processing includes to some extent ceramic materials. A short paragraph on advanced ceramics has been included. This book will be useful for educating students with scientific or technological orientation which have some background in materials science and technology and a special interest in powder metallurgy.
