An Investigation of the Translation Industry in Kurdistan Region-Iraq

This book identifies the gaps which exist in the translation industry in order to understand the extent to which the translation industry has developed in Iraqi Kurdistan region. In addition this study identifies some important facts regarding translators‟ features who work in the industry such as their numbers gender age language specialists and qualifications. The research will focus on the translation offices and companies because they are the representatives of the translation industry in Kurdistan. The research will examine a number of issues in relation to the offices or companies and this includes examining their numbers sizes professional history and their translators.
