<p><strong>An Official Killing</strong> is a tale of ordinary people acting inhumanely of the underdog showing compassion of love and empathy flourishing despite the harshness of war. It is the journey of a young Afrikaner woman caught up in the wickedness of the Second Boer War between Boer and Brit (1899 - 1902) in South Africa.</p><p>We follow her on a path of bewilderment survival and perseverance in the face of challenges. </p><p>We learn many lessons applicable even today - how to live a life to the full in dark times and the survival measures anyone can apply in difficult circumstances. We learn wisdom and about our own truth.</p>
