Anaerobic treatment system with chicanes for domestic effluents

In view of the unconditional use of water resources for life it is of utmost importance to use means that are capable of avoiding waste. For reuse it is interesting to segregate the effluents because grey waters are ideal for reuse due to their low organic load and the segregated black waters have low volume allowing lower costs with their treatment system. The treatment system of this work operated with segregated effluents the gray water was directed to an equalization tank and the black water to an anaerobic reactor with vertical flow chicanes with support medium.
