The increased use of nonlinear loads in the present-day distribution system results in the significant distortion of voltage and currents. This leads to large economic loss and loss of data. To overcome this situation Power Quality (PQ) disturbance identification and its solutions has become the need of the hour. Accurate identification of PQ disturbances enables us to design the appropriate mitigation technique.
