ANALYSIS OF PUBLIC POLICIES AND SOCIAL CONFLICTS

This book provides an in-depth multidimensional analysis of public policies in Peru with special emphasis on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. It explores the historical evolution of the system its strengths and weaknesses and the challenges to build a more efficient transparent and equitable state. It analyzes the role of public policies in the management of social conflicts including mining conflicts and formulates recommendations to strengthen state political capacities in the post-COVID-19 context. The work integrates diverse theoretical and methodological perspectives to understand the complexity of the issue and contribute to the search for solutions for sustainable and inclusive development in Peru.
