Eugenia uniflora is described as having therapeutic properties that help to reduce the risk of various chronic degenerative diseases such as cardiovascular disease and cancer. This effect has been attributed to the presence of antioxidant compounds such as phenolic compounds vitamin C carotenoids and secondary metabolites from plants called polyphenols. The aim of this study was therefore to evaluate the chemical composition of the leaves and essential oil of Eugenia uniflora as well as to assess its metabolism and pharmacokinetic parameters in silico.
