This research manuscript aims to express the demand of the context where professionals in the business sciences develop seeking to identify the main competencies knowledge technical and transversal skills that a professional in the area of business administration needs to have for which an analysis of the training demand and its trends is made in such a way that it provides the necessary inputs for the adequacy of the study contents to improve the training offer of professionals and on the contrary it does not constitute a study of the labor market in the area. The document presents the systematized results on the characteristics and training requirements in the area at regional and global level. The information was obtained through the opinions of professionals from the public and private sectors both professionals in function employing entities unemployed professionals key informants working in companies and institutions in the area.
