The growing interest in solid polymer electrolytes arises from the possibility of their applications in various solid state electrochemical devices. Polymer electrolytes are ion conducting solid solution of inorganic electrolyte salt in ion-coordinating polymers. Optical characterization of polymer electrolytes are of particular importance as these materials are intended for practical application in various fields.
