Analyzing The Effects Of Rhythmic Perception and Musical Perception

About The Book

This book is generally consisted from 2 main works and the general aim is to analyze the effects of audio-visual reaction perception and rhythmic perception in athletes and to understand musical perception in fetals. The first work is performed in the silent environment and the aim is analyzing athletes’ right-left hand audio and visual reaction responses and understanding the relationship between audio and visual perception and rhythmic perception which is tested with a specific rhythm pattern. For the second work prenatal learning is based on the brain based learning activity and some studies show that the fetal in the womb can distinguish and recognize auditory stimulants. In the second work to see the fetals’ auditory responses in the prenatal period 25 pregnant participants who are in 36th week of the pregnancy are chosen and the fetal heart rate and motor activity values are measured by NST (Non-Stress Test) in the quiet environment alpha music and beta music playing environments respectively and then these data are processed via MATLAB interface. Finally comparisons and analysis are clearly done for this work.
