Anam Cara – a Celtic word that means soul friend a friend to whom you can tell everything without fear. Unfortunately life does not always give second chances and worse yet you cannot receive punishment for your hidden crimes and suffer in guilt. You will feel guilt remorse anger depression hopelessness and motivation throughout this book. Its an emotional cocktail. The author wants the reader to realise why we should confess things and not take life for granted. As she writes this book the author mourns the loss of her sister. By emphasizing observation nature and family she tries to lighten up her guilt and encourage readers to act fast on their mistakes. The author has felt alone throughout her life but found her soul friend in writing. She believes her sister would still be alive today if she found a soul friend.
