Anatomy of the cambium and wood of Schizolobium parahyba var. amazonicum

With the increase in the area planted with paricá in the Amazon it is important to know the influence of silvicultural management on the properties of the wood produced. Knowing that many of the wood's properties are related to its anatomical structure and that this is partly determined by the size of the cambium cells understanding both tissues is fundamental to characterizing the quality of the wood that is being planted in the region.
