Perhaps It Is Tom Haven’S History Of “Almosts” That Impacts His Writing So Powerfully. Almost A Factory Worker Almost A Navy Sailor Almost A Student Almost A Professor Almost An Evangelist Priest Monk Salesman And Almost Surely A Writer To Some Degree He Has Been All These Things At One Point Or Another But Never Really Sustaining Success At Any Of Them. (Hopefully There Are Others Who Disagree With His Self-Assessment On Some Of This!) Not Unlike Many Young People Today With Feelings Of Inadequacy This Young Writer Began Seeking A Creator And What He Discovered Changed His Perspective Forever. This 25 Year Journey Has Left Him Fairly Jaded And Yet For All That It Has Provided Him Many Writing Opportunities. And He Continues To Write And Teach His Children About A Kind Of Abba That Relates To Beautiful Spring Days And/Or Things That Go Bump In The Night.
