<p>Volume One Book Two begins in 1966 and gives a closer look<br />at my life and tribulations before reaching my goal. My desire to<br />come to the USA was very strong and I always tried to fi nd a way<br />to leave my poverty-stricken home. Ever since I was 11 years old<br />I wanted to be a writer but more importantly I wanted to make<br />enough money to help support my parents. My passports requests<br />were denied which prevented me from visiting western countries<br />until I came up with a brilliant plan. Let's just say my dream came<br />true but it came with a heavy price. Heartaches paved the way to<br />fi nd true happiness and that road led from a refugee camp in Italy<br />to Las Vegas Nevada. No matter where I lived or visited my love<br />for my country the United States of America never wavered.<br />Please look for upcoming Volume Three that refl ects how someone<br />like me who in the beginning lacked knowledge of the English<br />language with $20.00 in her pocket begins her life alone in her<br />dream country and forges ahead to establish herself in her new<br />environment and do so much more than she ever hoped for.</p>
