Maui is a little kitten who one day looses his birth family only to be adopted by a human family of many colors. He tells his story of loss adoption and how things like that can be very stressful as well as funny. But the way Maui sees it nothing is as strange as the white and chocolate colored humans and the black and white cats. This is the first children's book of the author after she got tired of writing technical manuals as well as medical books for other people. It has been designed especially so it won't be too long to read as a goodnight story. And if you get too tired your child can tell YOU the story while looking at the pictures.
