Shock or acute circulatory failure is a group of syndromes associating a sudden reduction in effective blood volume with alteration in the transport and delivery of energy substrates resulting in a tissue oxygen debt.Surgical radiological or endoscopic haemostasis procedures in a patient in a state of haemorrhagic shock most often require anaesthesia.The management of a patient in a state of hemorrhagic shock is a challenge for the resuscitation anesthetist.
