Angels and Demons by Dan Brown ��� a new novel in the modern world

The 20th century saw rise of many endeavors in both science and art. World literature as an integral part of art was enriched in both form and content by the authors of the previous century. The main push which led to the appearance of new genres was the process of globalization. Thus the topicality of this research lays in the increasing interest of the people of Uzbekistan in the works of popular foreign writers’ works. Moreover due to the fact that the novel Angels and Demons is the first and yet the less popular one out of the five “Robert Langdon adventures” sequels the scholars have not thoroughly investigated it. Therefore the problem development status lays upon the works of few scholars who dedicated their works to the novel Angels and Demons. These researchers investigated the novel according to its genre linguistic aspects and the roles of protagonist and antagonist in the plot development.
