Animal

It was a brisk November night when a small unusual child was being brought into this world she had ears atop her head and a small tuft of fur forming a tail. The people in the room were cheerfully congratulating each other as her cries rang out until one person noticed what the others hadn't. Suddenly the world around the child was frantic and she was taken away. A gruff older man took her to a small room a room she would get used to as she grew for a time. Someday she would be free of it though... was that any better?
