The Little Black Haired General is at it again. But this time she isn''t exactly the shining example we''ve come to expect of her. Annika struggles with accepting her least favorite relative into her home and into her life. She suffers the consequences of this selfishness with less grace and courage than a general would. Annika has a great deal of learning to do about all kinds of people their differences and their equal importance to the world. The lessons Annika learns broadens her knowledge about the misery thoughtless people inflict upon others. These lessons provide Annika with a better understanding of herself a clearer view of the different kinds of people around her and a much kinder outlook not only of the feelings of others but also of herself.
