About the Contributor(s): Stephen Southern is Professor and Chair in the Department of Psychology and Counseling at Mississippi College. Dr. Southern has integrated roles of clinician supervisor consultant administrator and educator. He designed implemented and evaluated treatment programs for individuals couples and families including those recovering from addiction. He has planned and organized mental health treatment programs for adult and juvenile offenders as well. Southern is editor of the Journal of Addictions & Offender Counseling
