A young couple Debra and Greg have just moved into an enormous old farmhouse. Ever-fearful of inheriting her mother’s insanity the house is not an easy place for Debra to live what with its symphony of creaks and bangs strange shadows and possible ghost. Debra befriends her neighbor Julie and learns that Julie is being stalked by an unknown man who writes her letters about his sexual fantasies. Julie’s volatile husband learns of the letters and vows to take his revenge. Meanwhile a menacing game warden has his eye on Debra. And with her almost always alone in that old farmhouse anything could happen
