Another Time Another Place: A Journey Into the Distant Past

Victoria a time traveler must find someone to send back to the 14th century to retrieve an amulet without which she cannot survive. She finds Laura a computer programmer who has been working on a virtual reality program that takes place in a 14th century castle. With no time to really prepare her Victoria sends Laura back. Here she encounters refugees from the plague and an omnipotent Lord who wants to marry her off. The book brings to life a medieval world and the people in it where there are no real clocks no privacy and the concept of human rights is unknown. To Laura the world around her is as alien as life would be on a distant star. Constantly on her guard she can only hope that Victoria realizes her plight and send help before itÂ’s too late!
