Anthropological Demography of Siddi Tribe

Genetical demography is a developing trend in population genetic studies. The population values for certain biological phenomena and dimensional path of the dynamics of the populations are considered as significant features of the population studies. The demographic data are important in understanding the population structure and the ways in which the genetic makeup of the population is altered or held in equilibrium by the multiple influences of selection migration mutation etc. In this book the demographic and genetic structure of the Siddi tribal population of Karnataka India have been highlighted. This book is useful for biological anthropologists demographers and population geneticists.
