Anti-diabetic medications treat diabetes mellitus by lowering glucose levels in the blood. There are different classes of anti-diabetic drugs and their selection depends on the nature of the diabetes age and situation of the person as well as other factors.A number of drugs are available to help manage type 2 diabetes. Depending on the severity of the condition drugs are usually used in conjunction with other monitoring and treatment options.
