Anti-viral and immunomodulatory activities of plants: A review

Phytochemicals from different plants can be used as antioxidants antibiotics immunomodulating agents anti-inflammatory agents anti-tumor agents etc. Because of the presence of these phytochemicals the plant parts are being used in traditional medicine. In this article the chemical constituents present in the different parts of the plants that are easily available in Bangladesh and their pharmacological activities such as antiviral and immunomodulatory activity and how these plants work against viral infection are discussed.
