Apical Endodontic Surgery

Apical surgery refers to a surgical procedure that is sometimes required to remove infection from the tip of the roots of a infected tooth. A root end surgery also known as apicoectomy retrograde root canal treatment or root-end filling is an endodontic surgical procedure whereby a tooth's root tip is removed and a root end cavity is prepared and filled with a biocompatible material and healing is achieved.
