Apocalypse Joe

Joey had always known he'd never amount to much. Having been abandoned by his parents at a young age and forced to live on the streets of Halifax his future was bleak. Then something happened. People started getting sick. City after city they were all dropping dead and no one seemed to know what to do. Once the virus was discovered the question was how to prevent the sickness from spreading. But by then it was too late. Soon Joey finds himself alone in a world that has become a barren wasteland. He's still searching for his next meal and a place to sleep but now he has a new mission: to hunt down survivors and begin to rebuild the civilized world. With the odds stacked against him Joey must struggle to survive in a world gone wild. He will face off against the nocturnal predators of North America the brutal forces of nature and (perhaps the most daunting challenge of all) his own mind.
