APOCALYPSE UNLOCKED

Mark is an ordinary teenage boy in South Dakota. Due to heavy snowfall schools were closed for a few days and like any other teenager nowadays Mark enjoyed his time playing his Play Station with his friends and preparing for college. His winter break had been extended and for Christmas his father took him and his mother to a cottage in the mountains. While coming back from there the highways and roads were completely empty entering their neighborhood they saw that people’s houses cars were left abandoned and open people even left their pets behind. Looking at all this Mark’s father Kai an ex-marine who has served in Afghanistan understood that this was not something to be taken lightly. Kai had learned not to trust anyone in Afghanisthan and unlike others he kept his family safe in the house. Kai taught Mark a few defense techniques over the span of three weeks. After three weeks the family runs out of food and water. To restore their supplies Kai and Mark go to a nearby mall. In the mall they came across a group of three survivors completely surrounded by these deadly horrifying and cannibalistic creatures. With the help of Kai Mark was able to save Nora the mother and Chloe the daughter. The father Ryan sacrificed himself to save his family. Kai took Nora and Chloe to his home where Chloe tells them about her friend Amy. Amy’s mother used to work for WHO near South Dakota her mother was the head researcher there. Listening to this Kai thought that he could get some answers about the current situation and goes to pursue them.
