Application of analytical methods for Cr(III) and Cu(II) Ions

Currently many methods for determining heavy and toxic metals are known to science. Nevertheless with the development of analytical analysis methods the requirements for increasing the sensitivity and selectivity of element determination are becoming increasingly high necessitating the application of new approaches.Worldwide with the development of technology demand for copper and chromium based products in electrical engineering metallurgy transport and light industry is increasing. In the technogenic and wastewater of these industrial enterprises along with several heavy metals copper ions are present and various methods for their determination and extraction are proposed. However the low concentration of metal ions and the complexity of the analyzed object's composition do not always allow for successful analysis. Therefore it is important to develop effective simple accurate and sensitive methods that allow for the determination of components in complex mixtures.
