Application of the SPSS package

Opinion surveys play an important role in Production Engineering. To ensure the reliability of the survey tools capable of measuring and providing reliable results are necessary. This study sought to present the best way to create a questionnaire using a reliable scale and consequently to use the SPSS statistical software package to evaluate the case. The Likert scale used for the questionnaire is a response approach that measures the extent of satisfaction with a set of instructions and questions asked through the questionnaire. This type of response category makes it easy to quantify simplifying data analysis. With the use of SPSS software it can be demonstrated that even people who are unfamiliar with SPSS software can use it to tabulate and analyze data as its platform is self-interactive and provides reliable results.
