Application of the Thematic Method in Between the Waters

Every writer is the product of his society. He has inherited the reading of his environment the impetus of the vision of the world of the society and of the training he received. In the same way or in his own way he undergoes the shocks of problems that arise in his society. It is precisely this shock that springs up through the expression of his works: either he informs or reacts for or against or finally he brings solutions to the problems of his time.This novel attracted our attention because it addresses African social realities in general and Congolese in particular such as: war (struggle) death love ... which we are confronted daily.By basing our work on the work of Valentin Mudimbe V.Y. and particularly on the novel Between the Waters we want to pay a deserved tribute to this worthy son of the country and icon of African and Congolese literature whose works give food for thought but also and always in the same perspective arouse the scientific curiosity of researchers to conduct other studies on these works.
