Applications of Control Charts in Mineral Processing Industries

In the present book there has been an attempt to educate the control chart methods simply with practical and operational examples so that the process and processing engineers can select and apply the appropriate method based on their own process. The data used in the examples presented in this practical book are collected from several mineral processing plants in Iran over 15-year involvement of the authors with iron copper lead and zinc coal and other mineral industries. In addition to the manual analysis using Microsoft Excel they have also been analyzed using Minitab v.16. All the examples have been solved visually and step-by-step although with a repetitive approach so that the students and engineers can easily solve the similar examples.
