Applications of Power Functions of Permutation Testing

The main objective of this book is to provide some advances in permutation testing within different fields of statistics. Mainly the book is divided into four parts. First conditional power function for sample size estimation is investigated. The notions of reproducibility probability and generalizability probability are defined and used as a tools for sample size adjustment. Second permutation tests for two-sample location problem using ranked set sampling is investigated. Third the use of permutation test for variance components in linear mixed models is studied. Finally permutation test for random agreement in cluster analysis is investigated.
