Applied Mathematics

It is my pleasure to present the first edition of the book titled ‘Applied Mathematics’. The book provides an insight into Mathematical techniques that are significantly useful in science and engineering undergraduate courses; engrossing basic concepts and applications of Mathematical concepts in scientific and research applications. With this first edition I have strived to meet the expectations of the students by explaining the text and related theory right from the elementary level. With a substantial emphasis on conceptual knowledge the book provides working methodologies with sufficient number of illustrative examples. Practicing students and budding scientists will find it pragmatic in research related application problems. Level of the book has been kept moderately rudimentary and plain sailed to provide its’ readers with lucidity and perceptibility. An exuberant attempt has been made for the students to grasp and comprehend the basic concepts. It is hoped that this book would be determinedly advantageous to the tutees and prove to be serviceable.
