Chronic non-progressive encephalopathy (CNE) also known as cerebral palsy is a disorder of movement and posture resulting from non-progressive damage to the immature or developing brain which causes clinical manifestations (BAX et al. 2005). Aquatic physiotherapy is a physiotherapeutic resource that contributes to the treatment of patients with NPC as it improves balance motor coordination temporal and spatial orientation gait muscle flexibility and social function. There is a need for studies with a larger number of homogeneous patients control and experimental groups with statistical significance tests and treatments of choice for improving these aspects in these patients.
