Groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.) is a major commercial oilseed crop of India. Groundnut kernels are consumed as raw boiled roasted or fried products and also used in a variety of culinary preparations like peanut candies butter peanut milk and chocolates. Groundnut seed contains about 50% edible oil. The remaining 50% of the seed has high qualities of protein (21.4-36.4%) carbohydrates (6.0-24.09%) minerals and vitamins. Among the various factors known to determine the groundnut yield balanced nutrition along with sulphur considered as one of the basic factors which can increase 50 % production. This book will be providing significance of sulphur source and it's level for obtaining better yield of groundnut under balance fertilization in Gujarat.
