This book examines the relationship between viewing TV in the English language and its impact on the listening skills of ESL students.It was a research done on male students attending two major International schools as well as one college delivering ESL to female students in Jeddah K.S.A... Teachers and educators were included in the study so as to have a well rounded opinion of the issue. The results of this question highlighted many interesting pieces of the ESL teaching and learning experience. It portrayed the attitudes of the teaching fraternity with respect to the traditional practices of the pedagogy. It also mirrored the tendencies and preferences of ESL students of a certain background. It examined the perspectives of the administrators of the institutions that offer English as a product to non-native speakers. Finally it was able to take a peek into the Arabic speaking community of Jeddah K.S.A. as regards to their culture and approach to learning English as a second language. So this little scoop into the wide chasm of ESL endeavors serves as an appetizer for more answers to further researches in the exciting and amazing field of ESL in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
