Ark of Darkness

Ark of Darkness is a political science fiction epic about the Ark/Global Flood Story. Set in the present day a Biblical researcher and former astronaut discovers via satellite imaging an ancient shipwreck. It's not on Mt. Ararat the presumed location of Noah's Ark but 1000 miles due east on the Russian-Chinese border. The expedition to the Ark quickly meets with disaster. Driven inside the wreck by a terrible storm the survivors are forced to seek a legendary exit below. They now know this isn't Noah's Ark. Long ago the Devil attempted to save his water vulnerable spirits of fire from the wrath of the Biblical flood. Discovered their vessel was driven upon the peak of a great mountain and buried in an ice age. Among the castaways Satan included something critical to Humankind's future-never intended to go into the abyss. Though they don't know it the expedition has been sent to find this thing and return it to the surface. The fate of humanity hangs in the balance from this last dangerous passage across the terrifying vastness of Hell.
