Around the World in 80 Days Reimagined: The World 150 Years Later用新的视角展现《八十天环游地球》出版后150年的世界Based on Jules Verne's classic novel Around the World in Eighty Days the author designed a modern global itinerary and together with three secondary school students and two parents accomplished the challenge of circling the globe in just 26 days. While utilizing air travel for efficiency the journey also incorporated trains and steamships reminiscent of Phileas Fogg's original adventure. Along the way the group explored significant natural historical and cultural landmarks.This book presents over 160 vivid photographs capturing the essence of the regions visited. By contrasting the world Fogg encountered with today's realities it reveals the profound historical transformations over the past 150 years. Through interactive discussions with the students during the trip the author also engages readers in reflections and conversations spanning geography history culture and religion.作者根据法国作家儒勒•凡尔纳的《八十天环游地球》设计了一条环游全球之路。并带着三位中小学生和两位家长用了26天完成环游全球的挑战，除了乘坐航班外，也体验了福格先生当年的火车、轮船之旅。同时遍历了一路上重要的自然、历史、人文景点。本书呈现了作者旅行经历过的160多张人文风情照片。对照当年福格先生所见，展现了150年后世界的历史变迁，并以在旅行中与中小学生互动的形式，展开涉及地理、历史、文化、宗教等问题的思考和讨论。
