Arrested Mind

I’ve never been so instantly attracted to someone before in my life. Mark Washington has to be the most gorgeous man I’ve ever seen! He’s also, totally out of my league. He’s older, tall and extremely fit, with ice blue eyes that I could lose myself in… He walks into my life, on the worst day of my life. Talk about being blindsided! I can’t help myself, I flirt with him…hard, because that’s just who I am. He doesn’t take the bait; he remains professional and focused. Well, there’s another shot to my ego…. Catching the attention of a man like him, is unrealistic for a girl like me. As I cope with the disaster that is my life. I try to forget that I ever laid eyes on Mark Washington. I find comfort in my normal routine, as well as my best friend, Ella. I’m creating a plan to end this continuous cycle of bad luck… which includes awful ex-boyfriends, dead end jobs, and no plans for my future. And just when I think I’ve got it figured out, the actual worst day of my life happens… Is it really going to end like this?
