Arriving at the Cathedral

<p>Arriving at the Cathedral is our work because I have always travelled because sometimes I run from what I find mundane into the magic of the landscape. Be that a big trip or a journey out into my garden on a rainy day these experiences never fail to transform my mind into a wonderful and at times not-so-wonderful reality.</p><p>The Australian landscape of course is closest to my heart because it is where I call home. It is closest to my heart because every time I venture out into this most unique cathedral I find another room I didn't know was there. In these magical rooms I call my poetry I start to explore turning over another leaf and experiencing space and time in a colourful kaleidoscope. Not only finding what is seen but expressing feelings that are unseen shining a big light on moment.</p><p>The Cathedral was a big trip. I held Tim Winton's novels with me so I could stay anchored and wizened as I was almost completely absorbed by this tapestry in real time.</p><p>From fear and delight to overwhelm (particularly the west coast) not only was this poetry collection another room it became another galaxy...</p><p><br> </p>
