Periodontal diseases are a major public health burden and are common around the world. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology to enhance periodontal disease diagnosis treatment planning and management has gained popularity since its introduction. A thorough summary of the potential advantages difficulties and future directions of artificial intelligence's applications in periodontics is what this article seeks to deliver. The role of AI in the identification risk assessment treatment planning and patient care of periodontal disease was investigated through the analysis of fifteen pertinent research. According to the findings artificial intelligence holds promise for improving periodontics' precision effectiveness and individualized service delivery.
